At the top of the grand staircase is the Upper Lobby, or Mezzanine, leading to the Loges, the first five rows of the balcony with luxury seats, larger than regular ones. On the Mezzaine are stairways to the remaining balcony of sixteen rows.  The walls of the Upper Lobby are decorated with swords and spears.  Lining the walls are high-back wooden chairs with carved Christ figures and a wooden chest with religious figures of Micheal, the Archangel; the four evangelisists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; and Peter and Paul, apostles of Christ.
