Your membership is important to all of the activities of the Canton Museum of Art, and your involvement as a volunteer can deepen your commitment to the Arts as it improves the quality of the Museum. Five affiliate groups help you get involved:

Canton Fine Arts Associates
Organizers of the annual Christkindl Markt (second weekend of November), and sponsors of Museumexhibitions and other activites throughout the year. They meet monthly (except summer) at the Museun for a luncheon business meeting with guest speakers.


The Museum Guild
The Museum Guild presents the annual Antiques in Canton Show and Sale (second weekend of March), in addition to activities and exhibitions during the year.


CMA Docents
The Docents are a vital part of the day-today activities of our Education Department. As our volunteer tour guides, the Docents receive special training in art, art history and on each of the exhibitions presented at CMA.


CMA Potters' Guild
These experienced potters use and maintain the CMA "Pot Shop," providing demonstrations for school tours and a place where art is created daily in the Museum.


Canton Artists League
This group is a collaborative of professional, semi-professional and amateur visual artists; and people with an interest in supporting art through exhibits, educational workshops, field trips, and support programs. For more information,visit the CAL website at : www.cal.cannet.com
