Canton, Ohio artist Cleo Clark Williams was featured in an exhibit at the Canton Museum of Art entitled, A Sense of Place: Painting by Cleo Clark Williams, which ran from November 29th, 2003 thru February 29th, 2004.

Cleo attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Kent State University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1982. She then began to showcase her art and in 1978, won her first award at the Lithopolous, Ohio Open Competitive Exhibition, earning the title Best -of -Show. Since then, Cleo has been a part of numerous exhibits all over the United States, including California, Florida, New York and Pennsylvania. In addition to participating in nearly forty shows, Cleo has also taken home numerous awards, and not surprisingly, has been featured in American Artist Magazine twice. In addition to Cleo's exhibitions, her work can also be seen around Ohio, at businesses, banks and hospitals.
