Basic Setup

This setup is intended for those who wish to run physical cable to each of there computers to connect it to a networking hub. The hub will allow the computers plugged into it to share and access files within the network. You may then purchase additional IPs from Road Runner for $9.95 a month to connect additional PC's to the internet without buying a broadband router or proxy software.

Requirements:

  • 1 hub capable of connecting all local PCs
  • Must purchase Additional IPs in order to connect additional PCs to the internet
